Yes, I know. I haven't been around much. Adjusting to new meds can be a bit weird. And realizing that you are no longer bitching at people can be rather eye opneing in and of itself. Plus, it is gfolf season, and while it may be slower than usual, it has still been a scheduling nightmare all around.
But things aren't much better at work, at least for the upper crust. The girls are mad at Tristan. Tristan couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag, evil Kristy seems to think her job is to make sure that someone else does the work, and she gets to go play golf. And Kat is having a nervous breakdown everytime I turn around. I feel sorry for all of them, cause it is brutally obvious they are ALL in over their heads, but only Kat seems to be working her way out of it and into what she needs to do. When I emailed Chef to let him know that I needed my shift on Sunday to be changed from a cash bar to a host bar (they drank all the pop and juice that was free, didn't spend a cent on anything else) [this due to the fact that we are now into the new program of clocking in on the computer] all I got was:

So. I finally got a check for the $50 some odd dollars that they owed me for tips, but they are still telling me they can't find the other $40 odd amount. Not my problem I says. I wrote it down because I was told to do so by a supervisor. Therefore, regardless of who fucked up along the way, you guys still owe me that money, one way or the other. Well, the girls are telling me they have done as much as they can, now Tristan has to approve it. Ok, where's Tristan?

And more and more stuff is breaking down, not getting fixed, and creating even more and more dangerous situations at work.
Two of our biggest accounts are pulling out next year.
I ask Tristan why we are out of Cabernet Sauvignon.
He shrugs.
I ask why we are out of Corona.
He shrugs.
I ask why we don't have any Cuervo, Captain MOrgan, BAR VODKA.
He shrugs.
I ask why I can't get the tips I've been due back since the end of June/first of July.
"It's a work in progress" and shrugs.
This man went to school for this, and this is all I got?
Fuck me sideways.....
But, on the plus side, I don't give a shit as much as I used to.....lol
